It's time to be who God called you to be.

Often times in our lives, as women, we go through feelings of inadequacy. We somehow feel like we don't do enough. Like we don't have enough. Like we aren't enough. I believe this empty feeling comes from not living up to our God given potential.

The Bible says we are created in the Image and Likeness of God. If we truly believe this, than why would we doubt ourselves even if just for a second? Do we believe that God is not enough? Do we think He is incapable? Yet we believe that to be true for ourselves.

The truth is these thoughts should not co-exist. If you believe you are created in God's Image and in His likeness, then you should never doubt your capabilities. Because that means you are doubting God.

I've always felt in my heart that God wouldn't plant a seed within you that He didn't think you would be able to grow. This reminds me of the scripture of the Talents found in Matthew 25; 14-30. It says each man will be given according to His ability. Within this parable we see three men, 2 invested their talents and got a return. But the third man buried his 1 talent and when the master returned he told the master look I buried it so it would still be here when you got back. The master was furious, called him lazy and wicked and told him what he gave him will now go to the one with the most. Can you imagine upsetting God by not using what He has given you according to your ability? Can you imagine you not answering the call of God on your life so He gives your assignment to someone else?

The talent(s) God has given you is not supposed to just be buried for no one to see or benefit from. The talent God has given you is supposed to give Him glory. Meaning, put your talents to use, invest in them and then people will see the fruit of those talents & know that God has a hand on your life.

It is time to be who God called you to be. The best way we can give Him glory is to use what He has given us to shine more light in the world. I encourage you to get closer to Him by reading the word everyday and practice it within your day to day lifestyle.
